Christmas

6:00 AM - waiting in the hall, excited to see what's behind the corner!
Chloe checking out what Santa Claus brought her!
Ellie received a Fashion Design Book - and has been designing so many new outfits.  She loves it!  I have been encouraging her to make MODEST designs and MOST of them are.  She is very creative.
Opening Presents - it was a great Christmas!
I love watching the girls open presents.
Time to clean up the Christmas Mess!
We are so blessed and so grateful for all that we have.
Looking forward to a WONDERFUL 2011

Christmas Eve

I love Christmas Eve.  It was my favorite as a child and is my favorite as a mom!  This is our messy living room that night- so much to do, so little time to straightening up ; ) The girls are playing video games, a first in their life, something that came with Steve.  They don't play very often but that night they were having fun!
Mak was our special visitor that night!  He slept through most of the action.
After dinner the girls opened a present.  The famous Christmas Eve PJs ; )
I added slippers this year too.
The last shot before they went to sleep.  They were both so excited for Santa to come.

Black Friday

My new shopping partners!  The girls went shopping with me on BLACK FRIDAY and we had so much fun!  We shopped until we dropped and ate lunch after.  A fun new tradition!
We put up our tree - no decorations yet - after we ate Thanksgiving dinner ; )

Thanksgiving!

We stayed home for Thanksgiving this year.  It was just the 4 of us.  I made a gluten-free meal (For those that do not know I have Celiac Disease, which means no flour, wheat, gluten etc..) It was a lot harder than I thought but in the end we had a pretty great meal!
The girls love to color and do crafts.  They even made the flower center piece!
Best Friends!  I don't know what they would do without each other!
This is the appetizer portion ; )
The turkey!  I made it in a Romertopf clay pot, my Dad gave to me a few years back.
The final SPREAD!  Not too impressive but the girls were excited - they helped a ton!

Time to play catch-up!!!

Ok so get ready for a bunch of posts above!  I have been slacking BIG Time!
Chloe and Ellie in a Fall Outfit from Steve's Mom.  They love her!  She is so great to the girls!

Vacation

Saturday was a quiet, catch-up day for Steve and me.
We were both trying to get organized from past weeks.
While we were busy, the girls went on a VACATION without us!
(We found them outside in the 70 degree weather laying out!)
Me: What are you guys doing?
(They both looked up at me in their over sized sunglasses)
Ellie: Laying out - duhh!
Chloe: We are on a vacation, California! Laying out on the beach!
The next location was snowboarding on pillows in the spare bedroom!
(That is Rachael's Volcom Sweatshirt - Chloe is growing up so fast!!!)
The final destination was Shopping in New York!
I have to admit, they are more stylish then I was in N.Y.C.
LOL - They crack me up!  Together they can always think of something fun to do!

Round 2: Trunk or Treat

TRUNK or TREAT with our Ward
 PuNk-RocKeRs!!!
The girls had a blast with all their primary friends!
 Sisters: Best Friends Forever!!!
Enjoying their candy on the church lawn!
They only get to keep 5 pieces and
think I'm the meanest mom EVER because of it!
Dressing up and Candy - what could be more FUN!
