Disneyland and California Adventure!

Outside the hotel waiting for the shuttle to DISNEYLAND! ; )
The girls had big Miney Mouse ears (instead of the regular koala ears) and received a thousand comments complimenting their hair.
The girls and me! We were all so excited!
The girls and Steve in front of the castle.  It was beautiful!  (And so crowded; )
Both the girls loved driving the cars. Chloe was a great driver!
Ellie was driving our car and I couldn't get a good picture of her!
The girls outside of Submarine ride.  Ellie loved it.
Getting off the submarine.  Ellie absolutely loved this ride.  I think she will be a Marine Biologist someday.
These two were adrenalin junkies - waiting in line for Thunder Mountian!
They only wanted to go on the rides that were super fast and scary!
I had to beg them to go on Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion.
I couldn't even convince them to go on It's A Small World or the Tea Cups! LOL ; )
But I did get them to do 1 picture.  (And only because Snow White was walking by.)
They wouldn't stand in line to meet any characters!
Steve and Ellie waiting for Captian EO to start.
It was everything I remembered it to be, and even the girls thought it was pretty cool!
Safari Adventure!  Ellie loved this one too!
California Soarin was Chloe's favorite!  It was so fast and she wanted it to be even faster!  She is crazy!
We had such a great time at Disneyland and California Adventure.  My camera broke, due to a little one playing with it, but we stay well into the night - 11 hours in all!  The fireworks were awesome and all the junk food was the best!  It will be a fun memory to remember for us all!

Huntington Beach

Our hotel was close to Huntington Beach. It was still pretty cold but of course my girls were determined to get in the water!  They are so much fun to watch at the ocean!  They love it!
Ellie with her shells!
We were right by the pier.
Chloe in the waves!
Ellie running from the waves.  The water was so cold!
This was my only good picture!  I like to blame it on the camera ; )
Chloe was meant to be a surfer!  She looks like a natural in the water!
Eating strawberries.  I made Steve stop at this roadside fruit stand.  They grew the extra large strawberries right there on their land.  It was a beautiful garden and the strawberries were so yummy!
Racing!  You would be surprised how much Chloe makes our family race.
(She even made Uncle Doug race for a powdered doughnut in Mesa, later in the trip- lol ; )
On the pier with my girls!
We had a FUN day at the beach!

Spring Break 2011

We decided to take a trip for Spring Break since I will be too big to do anything fun this Summer and Disneyland will not be the same with a little baby - especially with these 2, they are all about the go, go, go!  We drove to California for the first part of the week and then went to Phoenix to hang out with family for the end of the week.  We had a blast together!  The girls were amazing - 2000 miles and no movie! Steve was a TRUE champ!  He was so much fun, we really enjoyed our time together.
This is all of us in the car on our way to California!  We left ABQ at 4:30 am ; )
Ellie drawing away.  She loves to draw and write stories!
Chloe writing a story and practicing her multiplication.  She loves latus math!
This picture was taken at our first stop on the California boarder!
At the hotel.  The girls were so excited because we had bunk beds in the room!  They were so funny!  I forgot how much fun it is to stay at a hotel when you're young!  They loved it!
The girls in the hot tub.  They swam every chance they had!

Growing Up

My girls are growing up!  These two are the most amazing girls!  They are so talented, beautiful, FUN, loving, smart, kind, and so helpful!  They are such great examples to me.
Thank you Gram!  These are the perfect outfits!

Sledding

On the first snow day, Steve took the girls sledding.  They had a BLAST!   They are little snow bunnies!  I sat in the car and took pictures ; )  They are both so cute!
My pictures are dark - shoot!  It was cloudy, but a nice day.
 Climbing the hills ; )
Chloe and Steve going down the hills.
Ellie just playing in the snow.  She retired early from sledding.
Steve showing Chloe how much air she caught!
My handsome husband!  He is the nicest, kindest, most loving husband!
 Steve in the air!!!!
Ellie ready to go home; )  Time for hot chocolate!

Christmas

6:00 AM - waiting in the hall, excited to see what's behind the corner!
Chloe checking out what Santa Claus brought her!
Ellie received a Fashion Design Book - and has been designing so many new outfits.  She loves it!  I have been encouraging her to make MODEST designs and MOST of them are.  She is very creative.
Opening Presents - it was a great Christmas!
I love watching the girls open presents.
Time to clean up the Christmas Mess!
We are so blessed and so grateful for all that we have.
Looking forward to a WONDERFUL 2011

Christmas Eve

I love Christmas Eve.  It was my favorite as a child and is my favorite as a mom!  This is our messy living room that night- so much to do, so little time to straightening up ; ) The girls are playing video games, a first in their life, something that came with Steve.  They don't play very often but that night they were having fun!
Mak was our special visitor that night!  He slept through most of the action.
After dinner the girls opened a present.  The famous Christmas Eve PJs ; )
I added slippers this year too.
The last shot before they went to sleep.  They were both so excited for Santa to come.
