First day of school!!!

They were both so excited!  They have the greatest teachers @ the greatest school.  I was overwhelmed with gratitude this day to watch these beautiful confident young ladies walk into school with huge smiles on their faces!   Chloe Lynn is in the 4th Grade, Mrs. Wiebelhaus's class. Ellie Tye is in 2nd Grade Mrs. Buffmire's class. 

 They were matching of course, but I promise I didn't make them do it.  They both tried on a couple of outfits and in the end they decided to wear the same thing!  Except the shoes - cute sandals for Ellie and Vans for Chloe - showing their personalities!  ; )

My first day of school too!  I worked this week and then went to the hospital the following Monday!  I was the typical swollen 9 months+ pregnant lady!!!

Baby Lien Shower

Baby Boy Lien is almost here!

We are all so excited!  (I am so ready!)  I go in on the 22nd to be Induced or C-Section, the little guy is breech and I'm hoping and praying that he decides to flip back by then.

My wonderful best friend Tiffany Herman and sister in-law Katie threw me a shower this summer! 

(Of course even from Cambodia Rachael had a hand in it all!!! ; ) 

Katie made it the cutest Fire Fighter Shower EVER!  I loved the decorations!

I had the best time visiting with friends and eating the most delicious gluten-free food! 

(Tiffany and her mom made extra efforts to make everything Gluten Free which is a hard task! Thank you!) 

Paul was awesome and took these amazing pictures!  I'm so grateful that the day was captured!

I resisted taking this picture but now I love it.

Cousins

We always have so much fun when we get to see these girls!  They happened to all have the

same swimsuits packed in their suitcases and loved that they all matched! 

They are all such great friends and get along so well!

I really have been terrible at taking pictures this summer! There were so many other great opportunities to take pictures while they were together but I kept forgetting - ugh! Maybe after the baby comes I will get back into the swing of things!

Holy Snake!

The other day we went swimming with Ava and Tanner and in the park below there was a man with a huge Albino Snake.   The girls were so excited - Especially Ellie she loves snakes. 

Cowgirls

One of the girls favorite things to do is go horseback riding with Peeps (Ron) and Grams.  They love everything about it.  (Especially their boots and hats!!! I think it is so funny that Ellie got the white and pink boots and Chloe the brown boots - so typical of their personalities! )

They always stop on the way to have a picnic lunch.

I only have pictures of their stop but they had a blast riding horses.  Peeps and Grams are the greatest, the girls treasure every moment they have with them! 

Swim Team

This summer the girls are doing swim team.  Chloe is also on the water polo team.  They both really are enjoying themselves.  Chloe loves water polo - more pictures of that later!  I did a terrible job at taking pictures.  The good races I was cheering too much to pick up the camera.  They did great at their first swim meet.  Chloe got all first place ribbons in freestlye 25 meter and 50 meter, breast storke 25 meter, butterfly 25 meter, back stroke 25 meter - and 1st in one relay were she swam the butterfly and 2nd in the other one were Ellie was on her team. Poor Ellie was sad because she had to swim against Chloe which means no first place ribbons but she got a few second.  They both were awesome!!!

Zoo, Aquairum, and Botanical Gardens

 The best thing we did this year was get a year pass to the ABQ Zoo, Aquarium, and Botanical Gardens.  We have such a great time each time we go.  I have been so bad at taking pictures even when I have my camera - so here are just a few pictures of one of our adventures.

 The aquarium is Ellie's favorite place.  She loves it all and could spend hours in there watching the animals.
